In Simple Terms

This site is about making complex technology decisions easier to understand.

I write, build tools, and record explainers for the moments where teams need clarity: what a system does, why it matters, what tradeoffs it creates, and what decision should come next.

Most of my work sits between product direction, engineering depth, and business judgment. The hard part is rarely just the code. It is deciding what matters, what can wait, and what the team needs to understand before moving.

This site is where I collect the things I keep explaining at work, on calls, and through In Simple Terms: product notes, architecture patterns, AI guidance, platform thinking, and simple explanations of systems that usually get buried in jargon.
